Abstract：OBJECTIVE To standardize and strengthen the continuring education of Licensed Pharmacists. METHODS By sorting out the relevant documents on continuing education for licensed pharmacists released by various provinces in 2021, the management departments, trained personnel, training methods, and teaching institutions are extracted for evaluation and analysis. RESULTS Among the management departments responsible for the continuing education of licensed pharmacists, 32.26% of the provinces are administrative departments, 54.84% are social organizations such as associations or societies, and 12.90% are public institutions. The 29.03% of trained personnel in the province are licensed pharmacists, 61.29% are practicing(subsidiary)pharmacists, 6.45% are licensed(subscribing)pharmacists and other pharmacy professionals, and 3.23% are licensed(subscribing)pharmacists and pharmacy professionals(traditional Chinese medicine)middle and senior professional and technical qualifications. The 58.06% of the provincial training methods are online teaching, 38.71% are online teaching and face-to-face teaching, and 3.23% are online teaching, face-to-face teaching and correspondence teaching. The 51.61% of the provincial public-demand subject teaching institutions are 1, and 48.39% are 2 to 6. 35.48% of the provincial professional subject teaching institutions are 1; 64.52% are 2 to 9. The 12.90% of the provinces conduct training free of charge, and 87.10% of the provinces charge training fees ranging from 100 to 324 yuan. CONCLUSION It is suggested that all provinces can improve the system, strengthen the investment, and establish a management system with overall planning and hierarchical responsibility; focus on the trained personnel, teach according to the needs of classification and stratification, and highlight pertinence and practicality; strictly select teaching institutions and enrich training forms, and continuously improve the quality of training.
