Abstract：By sorting out historical materials such as Kwang Chi Medical Journal, this paper clarifies the basic situation of Zhejiang Kwang Chi pharmaceutical school′s history, faculties, curriculums, student enrollments and performance for serving the society. This paper confirms that the school regarded pharmacist cultivation as the main objective, combined course theory with practice, and attached importance to pharmacy internships. Since graduates had skill ability to dispense drugs,most of the them were pharmacists, directors of pharmaceutical departments in pharmacies, hospitals and military or police systems in large cities such as Shanghai, except for a few people to set up their own businesses. More than half of graduates were licensed pharmacists of the department of health. Moreover, those competent graduates got the promotion to pharmacy managers, established pharmaceutical factories, or engaged in drug sales and manufacture.Most of the earliest pharmacists in China were cultivated by Guangji Pharmaceutical School. The school occupied an indispensable position in the history of Chinese pharmacy eduction and pharmaists.
