Abstract：OBJECTIVE To explore the effect of case-based learning method in teaching of off-label drug use in our outpatient. METHODS One case of off-label drug use in outpatient was introduced to guide the students to think about the clinical characteristics of the case,and then the situation of off-label drug use in rheumatoid arthritis patients was analyzed, and the prescriptions were managed by hierarchical management. RESULTS Through this case teaching practice,the students mastered the theoretical knowledge of off-label drug use and treatment of rheumatoid arthritis,deepened the understanding of clinical application of rheumatoid arthritis drugs,and cultivated the thinking mode of clinical pharmacotherapy. CONCLUSION Case-based learning method is an effective method and suitable for hospital pharmacist teaching.
