
橄榄油微乳区域提高的成因探讨及作为保湿抑菌身体乳载体的应用
Causes of the Olive Oil Microemulsion Area Increase and Its Application Evaluation as a Moisturizing Antibacterial Body Lotion Carrier
目的 揭示将维生素E琥珀酸脂(VES)、薄荷醇、乙酸氯己定载入以橄榄油(OL)为油相、丙二醇为助表面活性剂的微乳过程中发现的OL微乳区域显著增大的成因,从而开发一种表面活性剂用量小、具有优良保湿抑菌作用的身体乳。方法 通过单因素考察,寻找提高OL微乳区域的组分;通过微乳理化性质表征,揭示OL微乳区域提高的机制。以市售维E防裂抑菌橄榄油为对照,对自制身体乳的保湿效果进行评价;以乙酸氯己定水溶液为对照,对微乳载体对乙酸氯己定抑菌效果的影响进行评价。结果 提高OL微乳区域的因素为VES,VES与OL两种脂复配,通过降低油-水界面张力、提高Zeta电位而提高OL微乳区域。自制身体乳的保湿效果不低于市售身体乳。自制身体乳对金黄色葡萄球菌和大肠杆菌具有抑制作用,最小抑菌浓度分别为7.33×10-4和2.93×10-3 mg·mL-1,相比水溶液分别降低了50.14%和50.00%。结论 微乳是一种优良的载体,可促进乙酸氯己定抑菌效果的发挥。VES能够显著提高OL微乳区域,该发现可为解决微乳表面活性剂用量大的瓶颈问题提供一种油-油复配新思路,推动微乳产品在市场上的应用。
OBJECTIVE When vitamin E succinate (VES), menthol, and chlorhexidine acetate (CA) were loaded into the microemulsion with olive oil (OL) as the oil phase and propylene glycol as the co-surfactant, the microemulsion region of OL was significantly increased. The purpose of this work was to reveal its mechanisms, so as to develop a moisturizing antibacterial body lotion of microemulsion with small amount of surfactant. METHODS The components that increasing the microemulsion area of OL was investigated by single factor examination, and its mechanisms was revealed through the characterization of physicochemical properties of microemulsion. The moisturizing effect of self-made body lotion was evaluated by using commercially available vitamin E anti-cracking and anti-bacterial olive oil as a reference. The influence of microemulsion carrier on the antibacterial effect of CA was evaluated by comparing self-made body lotion with CA water solution. RESULTS The factor that enlarged the OL microemulsion area was VES, which attributed to the oil-water interfacial tension reduced and the Zeta potential of formation microemulsion increased while VES compounded with OL as new oil phase. The moisturizing effect of self-made body lotion was not lower than the commercial body lotion. The self-made body lotion can both inhibit S. aureus and E. coli, the minimum inhibitory concentration was 7.33×10-4 and 2.93×10-3 mg·mL-1, respectively, which was 50.14% and 50% less than that of the water solution, respectively. CONCLUSION Microemulsion is an excellent carrier which can improve moisturizing and antibacterial effect of self-made body lotion. VES can significantly enlarge the OL microemulsion area, and this discovery can provide a new oil-oil compounding idea for solving the bottleneck problem of large amount of surfactant used in the microemulsion, therefore promoting the application of microemulsion products in the market.
