Abstract��Cordycepin is a main active constituent of the famous traditional Chinese medicines Cordyceps sinensis and Cordyceps militaris. The antitumor activities and molecular mechanism of cordycepin on leukemia cells, lung cancer cells, hepatoma cells, prostatic carcinoma cells, cervical-cancer cells, colon cancer cells, leydig tumor cells, glioma cells and thyroid carcinoma cells were summarized.
