Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate medical staff (MS) who received further education in our hospital about the cognition of related knowledge and working report of adverse drug reaction (ADR).METHODS The questionnaires were random sent to medical personnel in our hospital for further education from 2008 to 2012(n=1 400).The content includes basic information of respondents, the understanding of ADR,and the cognition of ADR reporting work.RESULTS About 1 162 qualified questionnaires were responded, the rate is 79.71%. The rate of correctly understand the concept of the incidence of ADR,the ADR report content, the reported model of WHO member states and the concept of severe adverse reaction were 23.14%,27.31%,21.59% and 23.14% respectively, the primary hospitals often lack of awareness in adverse drug reactions, while the situation in teaching hospitals is much better. MS have certain understanding of ADR basic knowledge, but the general awareness of reporting work is not too high. CONCLUSION The training for clinical frontline doctors should be strengthened in the future,so that the diagnostic levels of ADR and the quality inspection report will be improved, and of course the occurrence of ADR will decline.
