Abstract
OBJECTIVE To calibrate the molecular weight of reference standard of heparin sodium. METHODS High performance gel chromatography-multi angle light scatterer(HGPC-MALLS) method was used. The column, mobile phases and other chromatographic conditions were not unified among different laboratories. In the authors lab, the sample was calibrated at 35 at a flow rate of 0.5 mLmin-1 by RI and MALLS detectors in series. RESULTS Four chromatographic conditions and different injection volumes were used to determine the molecular weight of the reference standard. The measured values by different laboratories had significant difference, and those by the authors laboratories were at the middle level. CONCLUSION The determination method of the molecular weight of reference standard of heparin sodium should be optimized.
