Abstract��
OBJECTIVE To explore the feasibility and necessity of online anticoagulation clinic for patients taking warfarin. METHODS QQ group information exchange platform was applied to build the online anticoagulation clinic for management of the patients who took warfarin after heart valve replacement. RESULTS Online anticoagulation clinic was successfully established, which improved patient medication compliance, INR compliance rate and quality of life, and reduced the time to reach INR standard and the incidence of bleeding. Meanwhile it saved the medical costs for patients. CONCLUSION Online anticoagulation clinic is a new mode of anticoagulation clinic. It can serve more patients taking warfarin.
