Abstract��
OBJECTIVE To develop a RP-HPLC method for the determination of sophoricosid�� baicalin�� genistein and wogonin in Huaijiao pills. METHODS A Diamonsil C18 column (4.6 mm��200 mm�� 5��m was used at 30 ��. The mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0.05% phosphoric acid aqueous under gradient elution(0-10 min�� 25%-37% acetonitrile�� 10-25 min�� 37%-60% acetonitrile. The flow rate was set at 1.0 mL��min-1. The detection wavelength was 260 nm. RESULTS The linearities ranged in 11.6-116 ��g��mL-1 for sophoricosid (r=0 999 6��n=6�� 33.5-335 ��g��mL-1 for baicalin (r=0.999 8�� n=6�� 0.46-4.63 ��g��mL-1 for genistein (r=0.999 8�� n=6�� 1.54-15.4 ��g��mL-1 for wogonin (r=0.999 7�� n=6 respectively. Recoveries were 99.3% with RSD 1.1% for sophoricosid�� 99.6% with RSD 1.1% for baicalin��99.6% with RSD 1.4% for genistein��99.0% with RSD 0.8% for wogonin. CONCLUSION The method is quick�� simple and repeatable for simultaneous determination of sophoricosid�� baicalin�� genistein and wogonin in Huaijiao pills.
