Abstract
OBJECTIVE To study the chemical constituents of Aquilegia yabeana Kita. METHODS The compounds were isolated by Diaion HP-20 Toyopearl HW-40 and silical gel column chromatography. The structures of these compounds were identified by physiochemical properties and spectral analysis. RESULTS Thirteen compounds were obtained and their structures were identified as 3 4-dihydroxyphenyl acetic acid ( hydroxytyrosol ( pyrocatechol ( 4-hydroxyphenethyl alcohol ( 4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenylethanol ( protocatechuic acid ( gallic acid ( 8--D-galactopyranosyl-5 7 4-trihydroxyflavone ( 5 4-dihydroxy-6 7-dimethoxy-8-C--D-glucopyranosylflavone ( 5 7 4-trihydroxy-6-methoxy-8-C--D-glucopyranosyl flavone ( 6--D-galactopyranosyl-5 7 8 4-tetrahydroxyflavone ( quercetin-3-O--D-xylopyranosyl-(12--D-galactopyranoside ( and rutin (. CONCLUSION All the compounds were isolated from this plant for the first time.
