微量元素铬的营养生物化学研究进展

摘要

目的介绍微量元素铬的生物学功能及其在糖尿病治疗上的应用,安全性和毒性评价。方法通过查阅文献,对微量元素铬和糖尿病的关系及其在药理学和毒理学方面的研究进行阐述。结果与结论微量元素铬是胰岛素的一种“协同激素”,作为胰岛素增敏剂激活胰岛素受体上酪氨酸激酶的活性,增强胰岛素的功能。缺铬可以使糖耐量异常、β细胞敏感性降低及胰岛素受体减少而引起糖尿病。补充铬营养剂不仅可以降低糖尿病病人的血糖、改善胰岛素抵抗症状,而且可以降低血脂,并具有剂量依赖性。铬营养剂在糖尿病控制和预防中具有一定的辅助疗效,其安全性与铬化合物的配体结构有关。
