Abstract��
OBJECTIVE: To provide the quatity basis for the crude drug of safflower. METHODS: Analysed the contents of components of safflower crude drug from different sources by UV and HPLC,respectively. RESULTS: The content of safflower yellow was 24.90%��40.34% from different sources,the content of polysaccharide was 5.62%��10.22%,and the content of adenosine was 38.7��392.7��g��g-1. CONCLUSION: The contents of the components in Safflower varied significantly (P<0.01) with the sources.The content of safflower yellow was the highest in Weishan,the content of polysaccharide was the highest in Xinxiang,and the content of adenosine was the highest in Jimusa'er.
