Abstract��
OBJECTIVE: Shui Qin (Oenanthe javanica, SQ) is a Chinese herbal drug to cure hepatitis popular. We use SQ to study its effect on hepatitis modesl in animals. METHOD: Duck hepatitis B virus (DHBV) infected duck primary hepatocytes culture in tube established By Hong-shan chen was taken to detect the inhibition of SQ on DHBV. RESULTS: SQ potentially inhibited DHBV DNA. The maximal inhibition was 64% and ED50was 1 120.8 ��g��ml-1 which was much less than its CD50(1 000 ��g��ml-1)��SI was more than 9.0. CONCLUSION: SQ is a hopeful drug for control DHBV.
