Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To observe the relative bioavailability of domestic oxaprozin(Oxa) and evaluate the bioequivalence between the domestic and imported tablet.WTHZMETHODSWTBZ:Eight volunteers were given orally domestic or imported Oxa tablet, with a single oral dose of 800 mg in randomized crossover study. The plasma concentration of Oxa was assayed by HPLC and the bioequivalence of the formulations was evaluated by three factors analysis of variance and two one-sided tests.RESULTS:The peak levels of Oxa in plasma averaged 62.769.12 and 69.848.33 mg/L at 9.094.91 and 3.021.26 h and the areas under the drug concentration curves were 488 6.7892.87 and 453 0.03480.27(mgh)/L respectively. The relative bioavailability of domestic tablet was 107.9%.CONCLUSION:The two formulations were of bioequivalence.
