Abstract��
OBJECTIVE To study the chemical components from Erigeron canadensis. METHODS The isolation and purification were carried out on silica gel column and Sephadex LH-20. The structures were elucidated on the basis of chemical evidences and spectral analysis. RESULT Twelve compounds were isolated and their structures were identified as ��asamyrin(��), ��-amyrin (��), ��-sitosterol(��)��epifriedelinol(��), oleanolic acid(��), spinasterol-3-O-��-D-glucopyranoside(��), 3,5, 7,3��,4��-pentahydroxyflavone(��), quercetin-3-O-��-L-rhamnose(��), rutin(��), scutellarin(��), baical(i��) and chlorogenic acid(��). CONCLUSION All the twelve compunds are isolated from the title plant for the first time.
