OBJECTIVE To prepare antimicrobial peptide spray and to investigate the inhibition effect of the spray on bacteria in vitro. METHODS Orthogonal test was employed to optimize the prescription.Cylinder plate method was used to detect the effect on the following bacteria:Pseudomonas aeruginosa,Staphylocococus aureus, Escherichia coli and different species of resistant Gram-positive or resistant Gram-negative bacteria. RESULTS Antimicrobial peptide spray had significant effect on bacteria growth inhibition in vitro. CONCLUSION The spray can be prepared feasibly and stably, and have significant effect in vitro growth inhibition on bacteria.
