OBJECTIVE To isolate and elucidate the constituents from Dendrobium aduncum Hook. METHODS The chromatography on silica gel was used for the isolation and purification of the constituents. The structures were determined by IR,MS,1H-NMR,13C-NMR and HMBC spectral analysis.RESULTS Nine compounds were obtained and identified as following: n-triacontyl p-hydroxy-cis-cinnamate(Ⅰ),defuscin(Ⅱ),β-sitosterol(Ⅲ),aduncin(Ⅳ),dengibsinin(Ⅴ),dengibsin(Ⅵ),chrysotoxone(Ⅶ),4-hydroxy-3-methoxy benzoic acid(Ⅷ) and daucosterol(Ⅸ).CONCLUSION The compound of 4-hydroxy-3-methoxy benzoic acid is firstly isolated from Genus Dendrobium and Compound Ⅰ~Ⅲ, Ⅴ~Ⅸ are found from this species for the first time,The 13C-NMR data of compound Ⅳ and Ⅴ are reported for the first time.
