Abstract�� OBJECTIVE To investigate the chemical constituents from the aerial parts of Artemisia lactiflora. METHODS The chemical constituents were isolated by silica gel and Sephadex LH-20 methods, and the structures were identified by NMR and MS. RESULTS Ten compounds were isolated and identified as follows: dehydrovomifoliol(1), 3-hydroxy-1-(4-hydroxy-3, 5-dimethoxyphenyl)-1-propanone(2), chrysindin D(3), camelliagenin A(4), 4��-O-methylalpinumisoflavone(5), 5-hydroxy-3��,4��,6,7,8-pentamethoxyflavone(6), armexifolin(7), 3��-hydroxy-5��, 6��-epoxy-7-megastigmen-9-one(8), carissone(9), and(E)-3��,4��-dihydroxyl-2-(2��,4��-hexadiynylidene)-1,6-dioxaspirodecane(10). CONCLUSION Compounds 1-5 are obtained from genus Artemisia for the first time and 6-10 are isolated from this plant for the first time.
