Abstract�� OBJECTIVE To develop the enteric coated omeprazole pellets. METHODS The enteric coated omeprazole pellets were prepared with extrusion spheronization and air flow coating method and the formulation was optimized by orthogonal design. RESULTS The resistance to acid was good and the dissolution of the pellets was quick in artificial intestinal liquid. CONCLUSION The problem of omeprazole's stability was resolved effectively and the preparation process was simple,feasible and replicable.It is worth further development and application in industry.
