Abstract��
OBJECTIVE��To study the chemical constituents in the leaves of Acanthopanax sessiliflorus .METHODS��Various kinds of chromatography and structure elucidation were used to separate and purify the constituents, and physical and chemical constants and spectral data were measured. RESULTS: Two compounds were isolated from the leaves of Acantlxopartax sessiliflorus.Their structures were identified as: I��(1R)-1, lla-dihydroxy-3, 4-seco-lupa-4(23)��20(29)-diene-3,28-dioic acid 3,11-lactone 28-O-a-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1��4)-��-D- glucopyranosyl(1��6)һ��-D-glucopyranoside;��-sitosterol. CONCLUSION: Compound I��first isolated from this plant, is the main constituent of theleaves of this plant.
