Abstract: Abstract: Objective To study the implementation of smoke-free policy in Jiamusi medical institutions. Methods The multi-stage sampling method was used to choose 14 medical institutions in Jiamusi. According to the intercept survey, the percentage of smokers smoking indoor reached 28.30%, the percentage of seeing other people smoking indoor reached 15.23%, the percentage of knowing the comprehensive smoke-free policy was 63.79%. Conclusions Jiamusi medical institutions launched a series of tobacco control activities for the enforcement of smoke-free medical institutions by the end of 2011 and had active effects, but they did not meet the requirements of comprehensive smoke-free environment, we should advocate legislation in municipal level and mobilize people in the institution in the future.
